G1 Test Prep: driving test study app
A study app for Ontario’s G1 driver’s knowledge test.
An unofficial study tool, not made by or connected with the Ministry of Transportation or ServiceOntario.
G1 Test Prep teaches Ontario’s driver’s handbook as you go, so there’s nothing to read first. Nineteen short lessons each end with a few check-yourself questions. Then 175 practice questions on road signs and the rules of the road, written 243 different ways, keep repeat practice from turning into memorizing. A mock exam follows the real test: 20 signs and 20 rules, each graded on its own, with 16 of 20 needed to pass each part. A numbers drill covers distances, times, limits and demerit points, and a review round brings back every question you missed.
Every answer explains why and links to the matching chapter of the official handbook. All 56 road signs are original vector drawings, and the look borrows from Ontario’s green highway guide signs. It runs as a single HTML file with no framework, saves progress in the browser and follows the device’s light or dark setting.
